>Go Green!

>We had to laugh as we were leaving Sandia Point on Tuesday evening. After an exciting trip up the tram to the top of Sandia Point (10,378ft) in the evening as the city lights started to appear, we were driving out on Tramway Road (or something like that). And what do we see? Check out the top pic below! (I will proudly tell you that the road looked nice and clean! I did jump out of the car to pick up some litter to contribute to the cause, but there was none there!).

We had a great time in New Mexico. We’ll post some pics of the trip but first we’ll start with a pic from the way home. Here is a rainbow we saw as we were landing in Dallas on Thursday evening. Bee took the pic from her window seat. Let’s just say being in Dallas was not part of the planned trip home. But 36 hours later we made it home! We were thrilled to see all of the snow melted and our crocuses, daffodils and tulips starting to poke through the ground!! Last year our crocuses bloomed on March 12 so we’re a little behind this year but we’re guessing they will bloom this week, hopefully in time for the official start of spring!

>woooohoooo

>the sun officially rose before 8am this morning and we are now gaining over 2 minutes of sun a day!!! Our solar noon altitude will hit 30 degrees by sunday (from a low of 23.9) on dec 21… I always notice the sun seems higher on the horizon about Feb 1, so i think that 30 degrees makes a difference. Long way to go to 70.7 (june 21) but we’ll take it.
