We’ve all learned something on our trip (so far):
Frankie: My favorite gelato flavor is tiramisu.
Barbara: Pizza and pasta in Italy are much better than in the USA.
Angie: On tandems, the bike shirt pockets of the front rider mostly benefit the back rider.
Scott: “Ponte Interrato” means “Bridge out”.

Today we rested up and explored Milan a little. Checked out the Castello Sfozesco, where they had a very cool Da Vinci ceiling. After a very nice lunch at Cuocona we walked over to Basilica Di Santa Maria Della Grazie to see if there were any cancellations for the Last Supper (ha ha!) and then checked out Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia.
Mostly, though, we ate and walked around. More pics here. Tomorrow, the bikes!

While I was in Atlanta for AIChE meeting this week, I took an afternoon off to go to the Georgia Aquarium. I’m not much for zoos, but it was a very cool place, and I got some good pictures- take a look.

Afterwards, I took a nice walk over to the Atlanta Krispy Kreme. Yum!
Frankie’s Fall soccer season ended this weekend. The team played great, and had a lot of fun. The best part were the pictures!
There’s a goofy picture after the break. Bee still has one game left on Nov. 1, 3:30 p.m at the East Lansing Soccer Complex. Spring soccer begins in April!
On the road last Spring, we challenged Barbara and Frankie to run 100 miles by Angie’s birthday. If they did it, we would take them to Michigan Adventure.
Well, today the 100th mile rolled off the assembly line! We’re so proud of them, and we’ve already planned the big trip for next Tuesday.
