On Tuesday, Barbara was named President of her fifth grade class for the next two weeks. Her name was drawn from the five best students in the class.

The President gets to sit at the front of the class in a comfy chair (shown above) and gets one free homework pass. Her responsibilities are to assign class jobs (below). Her first act was to name Callie, our neighbor and her classmate, as Vice president.
