The sun and moon got together for a special treat for Angie’s Birthday.  She celebrated with friends in Ireland.

Bee and I tried to capture the 79.8% eclipse in East Lansing.  Bee got the best shot:

She invented a great technique, letting light in around the filter so the camera wouldn’t try to compensate:
