I have never had gelato. No bikes allowed. Why? Yes the Po river is a funny name. Miss you all.
Venice has no roads. It’s like Mackinac Island with canals instead of roads and boats instead of horses. It’s riddled with these super-narrow alleys that are fun to explore but impossible to navigate by bike. Not to mention the staircase-footbridges over every little bitty canal.
