>She’s done what no other bartobreezy dog has done before…

>… Cho Cho has passed her Canine Good Citizen’s Dog test last night, and on her first try! And, dare we say, she performed the best of all of the doggies! The teacher kept saying, “wow, excellent!”. We think her best performance came in the sit, down & stay. There were about 20 dogs in the room (so the audience pressure was tough!). After the stay command, most of the people would slowly back away from their dog repeating stay over and over (you had to walk 20 feet away). Not the Cho. After stay, we just turned around and walked away to the 20 ft mark, then turned around. It was like a triple axle triple salchow toe loop quad jump of the puppy world. The heel without tugging on the leash was a bit shakey but she pulled it out in the end. Lets also just say the test would not be complete without Bee and Frankie who ran immediately out to the center of the room when the teacher asked for “crowd volunteers” for the walk your dog through a crowd test. Bee and Frankie passed that test too. ha ha.

Celebratory tasty twist anyone?

>this is my kind of weather forecast

Tomorrow….
Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph. I’m wondering if those snow piles in the parking lots will finally completely go away!!

And in other news, here is Bee at the Fairy Tale Ball at her school last friday. Doesnt she look cute!!

>pass the butter please

>
here is the birthday cake we made this morning for Bee’s birthday party with her friends. Lets just say it took us forever, and Cho Cho helped every step of the way! We bought one of those silver little squirty things that you can stick at the end of a plastic bag make frosting decorations with. We cut the hearts out of a larger cake. We ended up make a triple batch of batter. There was a lot of butter and sugar going down on Beech street…

>Signs of spring

>So it might snow next week, but at least we have had our first glimpses of spring! The crocuses are in bloom and tasty twist is open!! Yesterday was 65 and perfectly sunny! We even spotted some of the students in our neighborhood out sun bathing. That’s going a bit too far we think, but still we did play outside without jackets!

>Go Green!

>We had to laugh as we were leaving Sandia Point on Tuesday evening. After an exciting trip up the tram to the top of Sandia Point (10,378ft) in the evening as the city lights started to appear, we were driving out on Tramway Road (or something like that). And what do we see? Check out the top pic below! (I will proudly tell you that the road looked nice and clean! I did jump out of the car to pick up some litter to contribute to the cause, but there was none there!).

>pics coming

>
We had a great time in New Mexico. We’ll post some pics of the trip but first we’ll start with a pic from the way home. Here is a rainbow we saw as we were landing in Dallas on Thursday evening. Bee took the pic from her window seat. Let’s just say being in Dallas was not part of the planned trip home. But 36 hours later we made it home! We were thrilled to see all of the snow melted and our crocuses, daffodils and tulips starting to poke through the ground!! Last year our crocuses bloomed on March 12 so we’re a little behind this year but we’re guessing they will bloom this week, hopefully in time for the official start of spring!
