While I was in Atlanta for AIChE meeting this week, I took an afternoon off to go to the Georgia Aquarium. I’m not much for zoos, but it was a very cool place, and I got some good pictures- take a look.

Afterwards, I took a nice walk over to the Atlanta Krispy Kreme. Yum!
Frankie’s Fall soccer season ended this weekend. The team played great, and had a lot of fun. The best part were the pictures!
There’s a goofy picture after the break. Bee still has one game left on Nov. 1, 3:30 p.m at the East Lansing Soccer Complex. Spring soccer begins in April!
On the road last Spring, we challenged Barbara and Frankie to run 100 miles by Angie’s birthday. If they did it, we would take them to Michigan Adventure.
Well, today the 100th mile rolled off the assembly line! We’re so proud of them, and we’ve already planned the big trip for next Tuesday.

Softball is here! In fact, it’s a few weeks old. Last night, Frankie got a hit and scored her team’s only run, and then Barbara mopped up the game at catcher.

We stayed here during Spring Break and promised we would come back. We stayed in the historic Hotel Colorado (no AC!), and discovered some new running/biking trails around the hotel. The highlight of the entire trip for the girls was the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, an amusement park with an alpine slide, roller coasters, zip lines, and other puke-inducing abominations. To get there, we just had to walk three blocks from the hotel and take a tram to the mountaintop. We all had a blast, and don’t tell my orthopedist that I did the rock-climbing wall.

We passed through Salt Lake City today, and stayed with a friend. Before we got there, we passed through the Bonneville Salt Flats, had lunch at the Salt Flats Cafe. Yum! We checked out the speedway, and thought the salt was a little muddy, I think Chocho set a land speed record for dogs.
